I didn't take this shot. Honest.
That's me in the purple dress. My first public stage performance since I was around 10 years old. Mercifully, I manage anxiety now better than I did at that age. I guess getting older has a few beneficial side effects.
From a local performance of the Nutcracker.

Who took the photo then ;) -
You look fabulous!
My daughter was once in a Nutcracker show as a mouse. She'd love to do it again except that I don't have the time to take he to all the rehearsals :(
Oh, I'd forgotten!
When doing these kinds of things as a kid the director would always tell us to not make eye contact with anyone in the audience, but rather to kind of gaze out over the crowd at an imagined, single person who loved your performance.
Oh well. It didn't occur to me until seeing the photograph of the performance. You look great, and I'm glad you... survived? had fun?
Take care, and don't slip on the ice.
Were you having fun? I like the that the makeup looked pretty cute:-)
You look terrific! Good for you getting past the nerves!
Very cool. Glad you were in front of the camera for a change. I hope you had fun with The Nutcracker. We saw a production last weekend, for the first time in several years. Good to get ahold of the tradition again. I hope you managed some fun.
Your snow images (below) are amazing. The light and softness gives a deathly quiet to Chicago. So beautiful.
Very good to finally get to see the person behind the mask so to speak. Your composition of shot has improved very much. The ice pictures are very nice. Will like to see what the future holds for your photography!
How fun to be on stage! You look great. Happy Holidays!
Hi, I hope your construction is going okay, although I doubt it is....
Post something to let us know you're alright, okay?
Just asking.
Love,
Joel
