Possibly Rudbeckia Goldstrum, otherwise known as "Black Eyed Susan".They do well Southern Oregon blooming mid summer till October.
Thanks all. I'll double check and see if they are Rudebeckia but I think not. I'll post a picture of the red Rudebeckia that were growing alongside.
Very pretty and especially bright. I just made a trip to Dallas Texas and return to North Arkansas and we only saw these in one small area, just north of Texarkana Texas. I looked it up and I think they call it Pinnate Prairie Coneflower. They were just outstanding in color along the roadway. Thanks for posting. Doyle
