So I'm walking along in the park lugging my zoom lens and looking for birds. I chance to look at my feet and have two near simultaneous thoughts: "Yuck!" and "Damn, I'm going to have to switch lenses!" I guess this is why the pros have more than one camera. I don't know how their backs can take it though.

Crafty Green, it is funny that you find that sweet. I'm in love with nature but slugs are hard to love for gardeners and anyone who has ever stepped on one barefoot.

I didn't know what that was. At first I thought it was two ducks swirled together, then dog poo. I'm glad you told us what it was.
I absolutely loather slugs, but after seeing this, I realize that they are only human, just like the rest of us. this photo makes my skin crawl and touches my heart at the same time . . .
