I was in Madison yesterday (Saturday) and had managed to forget about the still ongoing protests. It made walking around kind of a pain.
I got Laurel a jersey from a Japanese baseball team that's really cool. It was fun, but I have to comment that people in Madison are completely clueless about the rest of the state of Wisconsin.
They live in an artificial UW-fueled little world of their own, and have no clue about anywhere else or anywhere else in Wisconsin. And don't seem to care to know.
