Well, since the lower object (which is a broken link for either a chain or a hawser; flip the two curved pieces together) looks like an 'S', collect enough whatsits to spell out your name in your front lawn (if you have one)!
The upper object is a gate valve.
Looks like some damage caused in a land slide...broken metal pieces scattered all over.
I wouldn't know either ;-)
