Still Stoned
It is amazing what you can find if you look. So who were Turk and Hickey? 1940's gang members? High school students? Both? The stone lives on for us to interpret as we please.
Crook and friends, dated 1948 to 1958.

Written in Stone
Stone or concrete seen on shore of Lake Michigan. It has some kind of Biblical reference is written on it but even flipped over and enlarged I can only figure out a few names: God, Isaac, Noah, Esau and Moses. It is crudely done and I cannot for the life of me get the point.
A bit less Biblical.
More tomorrow.

Endangered Species Video
I don't usually post video material but this is just choice. A photographer documents the trials and tribulations of making a book about endangered American species. Funny and poignant all at the same time. I might just have to buy the book.

Mousey Love
The back of the card is addressed to Miss Eva Bown, Danville, Ala, R-3-Bot 54. The postmark reads June 13, 1913.
The card is written in pencil and hard to read. It says:
Hello Eva how are you all ok I hope I got home all right I hope to see you soon if I could see you I could tell you a whole lot more than I can right (?) hope to (?) soon By By Dave
I have 4 other cards of this pair. I think they were courting.

Going Nowhere Fast
My brain seems to be going nowhere fast. I'm not processing pictures although I have many and I'm not feeling like posting anything on the blog. I would hate to abandon blogging. It has brought good things and people into my life so I am going to try to make an effort. One thing I am going to resort to is bringing in old material I never got to posting.
The image above is a page I wrote based on a journal prompt. You get to see my handwriting and a self portrait at the same time. I think the list of adjectives is revealing.
