So what exactly is the problem? I can't read the sign well enough to understand the hazard.
I guess a sand bar forms between the river and the lake and water backs up. Then the sand gives way and there is a brief flood.
Also, you get kind of a quick sand effect. Not good.
Violent natural processes - sounds exciting!
