Well, really what I think when seeing this kind of thing is, "Good for them". I got so effing sick of people in places I lived constantly harping on their precious 'property values', and even more annoyingly, harping on what people around them did to their houses and it's effect on their 'property values'.
Something like this drives the 'property values' crowd insane, therefore I fully approve.
It's their house, why not personalize it? Good for them.
